Lethargy

Lethargy breeds either from overconsumption of food or from constant unhealthy thoughts.

“Healthy mind in a healthy body” can never make Jack a dull boy is a thought acknowledged by all.

In a fast paced world where competition and challenges suck blood out of you and derive you anemic choosing the art of regular exercising can only be your potential saviour.

As they say, lethargy breeds either from overconsumption of food or constant negative thoughts, improvement in lifestyle and pouncing upon healthy food can be an effective way out.

Everyday we come across numerous healthy recipes on social media platforms, many food blogs, articles and web content applauding healthy Indian food or recipes. But unfortunately none of these options do we really incorporate into our diet.

Basically what we eat or add into our specific diets, is not something that really matters or could help us to leverage maximum benefits. Instead our thoughts, efforts, mindset and spatial distribution like where do we live that really hit the spot.

“All work and no play makes Jack really a dull boy”, is a thought that perfectly fits into the present context.

No matter how healthy we eat or drink, if we don’t make any effort to make the most of it perhaps it is of no utility to the body. Though it can be quite soothing to the mind and spirit.

For instance if we had one ounce of meat for lunch but we slept soon after consuming it. It is of no use as the protein content would instantly be replaced by a carbs deposition. If we remain active and awake chances are ripe that we get an adequate amount of nutrients that comes from escaping lethargy and working on the body organs.

Lethargy also sprouts from overconsumption of food and unhealthy snacking.

Eating unhealthy yet yummiest snacks like burgers, pizza, pasta, tacos, soft drinks, and all other kinds of Italian cuisines and junk food can never ameliorate your health and make you healthy and fit in the long run no matter what.

So avoid eating junk rather than invest the same amount in purchasing healthy groceries and items that are full of nutrients, proteins, carbs and good fat. Opt for purchasing fish, meat, eggs and prawns in case you lack proteins.

And if you tend to be a pure vegetarian kindly opt for green veggies, exotic fruits and milk products like cheese, milk, ghee and curd.

In the lines of Hippocrates: “If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have the safest way to health.”

Health and contentment doesn’t come from overdoing the things or eating unlimited delicious stuff but instead eating in moderation which is neither too little nor too much.

In my opinion eating in Moderation is the only key to a healthy body and mind.

Not only this constant negative thoughts also make you lethargic and dumb and tend you to remain stick to your pillow for no good reason simply eating sleeping and repeating of the pattern.

Negative thoughts push you to sleep more, be lethargic and dull. It does not allow your creativity to come into play. Moreover a healthy mind can never persist in an unhealthy body.

In such cases even the healthiest food refuses to take hold of you as important nutrients are not absorbed by your body because your metabolism slow down when you choose to remain inactive and becoming lethargic.

So what’s the bottom line? We should remain aware of our thoughts work upon them, think optimistically and eat actively or consciously.

What if we eat the healthiest food but dwell in a so called unhealthily polluted atmosphere which can drastically impact neuroplasticity, brain functioning, lungs health and your overall body functioning processes.

All in all we should not only focus on our diet and recipes but also on our thoughts, behaviour and work towards optimistic attitudes that add to your overall health. Be active, think optimistically, eat discreetly and work smartly to create an egalitarian society where everyone remains euphoric, contented and healthy.

Phewww…….Do your bit to improve the environment around you avoid plastic, plant more trees, use less vehicles and create sustainable environment whenever viable that would indirectly transform your health as a healthy outcome of it. Do regular exercise and eat healthy as health is the real wealth….
